Bosnia's consumer prices rose by 1.9% on the year in June after increasing by the same annual pace a month earlier, the country's statistics office said in a statement. In monthly terms, the consumer price index (CPI) fell 0.5% in June after edging down 0.1% in May. January-June annual inflation was 2.2%. In annual terms, the consumer prices growth speeded up in June in comparison with May only in the areas of food and non-alcoholic beverages, furnishing and other goods and services. Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco, housing, transport and recreation and culture rose slower in annual terms. The annual drop in prices of clothing and footwear shrank in June, while the one of education prices remained unchanged. The prices of communications and restaurants and hotels rose by the same annual pace in June, while those of health recorded an annual drop after rising 0.1% in May.
