The governments of Albania and Israel expressed commitment to boost bilateral economic relations, the economy ministry said in a statement. Deputy PM and economy minister Ilir Meta discussed the issue in a meeting with Israeli deputy PM and intelligence and atomic energy minister Dan Meridor. They agreed on the establishment of an intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation with the purpose to boosts bilateral cooperation in the near future. This will enable the government to promote the opportunities that Albania already offers to foreign investors, to Israeli investors as well. The committee will also highlight the priorities of cooperation, the relevant legal framework of relations and the steps for its implementation. |
