Kuwait pledges to increase investments in Albania.

Kuwait will increase investments in Albanian economy, Kuwaits national assembly speaker Jassem Mohammad Al-Kharafi said following a meeting with Albanian parliaments head Jozefina Topalli, reads a statement on the parliaments website. Kuwaiti investments will be focused on infrastructure project in Albania. The Kuwaiti Fund for Arab Economic Development has supported the construction the Tirana-Elbasan highway, one of Albanias key infrastructure project. The fund also provided a EUR 5.5mn loan to finance the reconstruction of Et'hem Bey Mosque in Albania's capital Tirana.
