Number of vehicles per 1,000 residents increased by 9% y/y in 2011, while number of cars increased by 5.4% y/y. 685,000 vehicles were registered in Estonia as of end-2011, of which 429,000 cars were older than 10 years. Share of cars with age from 3-5 years declined by 3.3pp y/y to 12% in 2011. Number of new cars registration in 2011 reached the levels of 2008, up from the lowest level of 1,753 cars per month in 2009.
