Albanias central bank will auction ALL 4bn (EUR 28.7mn) in two-year fixed-rate treasury bonds on January 17, the bank said on its website. The average yield on this type of treasuries declined for two straight auctions to 7.68% on December 18, the lowest level since April 2011. The bank, which places state securities on behalf of the government, sold ALL 37bn in two-year fixed-rate bonds in 2012, while total lek-denominated bonds placed in 2012 amounted to ALL 73.5bn. |
