Former president of Kalmykia buys majority stake in Bulgaria's Petrol Holding.

Swiss-based Credit Mediterranee, owned by former president of the Republic of Kalmykia, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, has bought a majority stake in Petrol Holding, investor.bg reported. The shares have been bought from Denis Ershov (47.5%) and Aleaxnder Melnik (5%). Petrol Holding owns 55.48% of the capital of local fuel retailer Petrol AD, trading on the local bourse (ticker: 5PET).
