Uzbekistan plans to sell its 57.118% stake in the authorised capital of Coca-Cola Bottlers Uzbekistan, the state asset management agency said on November 23.

International consultants are involved in the process, including investment bank Rothschild & Co as financial adviser, law firm Dentons as legal adviser and KPMG, which is preparing financial and tax reports, as well as an assessment of the state’s stake in the company.

Companies with operational experience, sufficient financial and managerial resources to implement the transaction and long-term investment opportunities can participate in the tender.

Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekiston LTD. has been active in Uzbekistan since its registration in 1993. The official opening of the company took place in March 1994.

The net profit of the company exceeded $19.2mn in 2019.
