The ministry of finance announced that it sold MKD 2.23bn (EUR 36.2mn) of three- and six-month T-Bills at auctions held on Sep 4. The ministry also said that government securities of a total amount of MKD 2.71bn are maturing today, Sep 5. The ministry offered and sold MKD 295mn of three-month T-Bills with EUR clause. The yield on the issue was 3.9%, unchanged from the previous auction held on Aug 7. Banks bought 96.61% of the issue, and the remainder was purchased by bank clients. The ministry also offered MKD 1.1bn of three-month T-Bills without foreign exchange clause. However, the demand totalled MKD 978mn and securities of that amount were sold. The yield on the issue was 4%, unchanged from the previous auction held on Aug 27. Banks bought 93.05% of the issue, and the remainder was purchased by bank clients. The ministry also offered and sold MKD 953.2mn of six-month T-Bills with foreign exchange clause. The yield on the issue was 4%, unchanged from the previous auction held on Aug 21.
