Macedonian government does not plan cuts in administration.

Macedonian information society and administration minister Ivo Ivanovski said that there will be no layoffs of state administration employees despite the negative economic growth performance in the first half of this year, a press release on the cabinets website informs. The countrys GDP dropped by a real 0.9% y/y in Q2 after decreasing by a revised 1.3% y/y in Q1, according to data of the statistics office. Annual real GDP growth has thus been negative for two consecutive quarters now.
