LT: Lithuania borrows EUR 400mn in financial markets.

State of Lithuania issued euro obligations in amount of EUR 400mn, adding to the euro obligations emission that is to be redeemed in February 2018. The previous issue of the emission amounted to EUR 1.0bn, which was issued on Oct 29, 2007, and increased in Apr 2012. The emission has annual coupon of 4.85%. Yield of the issue of EUR 400mn stood at 2.631%. The main underwriters of the issue were Barclays and Citigroup banks. In 2013, Lithuania plans to borrow up to LTL 7.5bn (EUR 2.2bn) during the year, yet majority of it will be used to refinance old loans. Planned net loan increase in 2013 stands at LTL 1.0bn.
