Foreign direct investment in Macedonia up by 30.4% y/y in January 2011.

According to data of the central bank, foreign direct investment in Macedonia was an inflow of EUR 51.9mn in January, which compares with inflows of EUR 32.8mn in December 2010 and EUR 39.8mn in January 2010. The equity capital and reinvested earnings component was a net inflow of EUR 9.5mn in the first month of this year. This compares with net inflows for the component of EUR 46.3mn in December 2010 and EUR 15.6mn in January 2010.
