CEZ Bulgaria to invest BGN 2mn in power grid modernisation in October.

CEZ Razpredelenie Bulgaria, the Bulgarian unit of Czech power utility CEZ, plans to invest over BGN 2mn in the reconstruction and development of its power grid in western Bulgaria in October, Focus news agency reported. Some BGN 555,000 will be spent on the upgrade of the power grid in Sofia. CEZ Bulgaria has invested BGN 32.5mn in the first nine months of 2011. The Bulgarian unit runs the grids in western Bulgaria with a population of above 2.9mn. It state will offer for sale its 33% stake in the company.
