Zain Bahrain announced that it signed a partnership agreement with customer service technology firm Text, integrating the latter's platform into its OneCX customer experience portfolio.
Under the arrangement, which sees Zain Bahrain join the Text Solution Partner Program, OneCX will offer Bahraini enterprises a unified platform consolidating customer interactions across chat, support requests and email channels.
The integration adds AI-driven process automation and centralised data analytics capabilities to OneCX's existing enterprise offering, enabling clients to manage communications and extract service-level insights from a single environment.
Ali Al Banna, Senior Product Manager of OneCX at Zain Bahrain, said in a press release that the partnership "enhances OneCX's capabilities in delivering intelligent customer experience solutions," adding that it aligns with Zain Group's 4WARD strategy, which prioritises technology-driven growth and digital transformation across the group's markets.
Text specialises in AI-powered customer service infrastructure, and the certified partner designation gives OneCX formal access to the company's solution stack for commercial deployment in Bahrain.
The deal signifies a broader trend among Gulf telecoms operators to monetise enterprise software and managed services as a complement to core connectivity revenue. For Zain Bahrain, expanding the OneCX portfolio through third-party technology partnerships offers a route to deeper enterprise penetration without the capital outlay of building proprietary AI tooling.
