Kazakhstan to establish institute for energy and energy effectiveness.

Kazakhstan will establish institute for energy and energy effectiveness, deputy PM and Minister of Industry and New technologies Aset Isekeshev has informed. The new entity should start operating in H2. The Institute will be based on Kazenrgoekspertiz and will cooperate with scientists from Japan, Germany, France and South Korean. The new entity will help in tackling problems connected with implementation of industrial-innovative development programme. Significantly, Kazakhstan is eager to develop renewable energy sources in order to position itself as a modernized country. EXPO-2017 which will be held in Astana serves as an incentive to develop energy effectiveness and renewable energy sources as its theme is Future Energy.
