Ukraine places USD 1.25bn Eurobonds.

Ukraine has placed USD 1.25bn Eurobonds with foreign investors, Ukrainian News Agency writes, citing spokesman for one of the placement manager banks. The papers mature in 10 years, the yield 7.8% per annum. The floatation managers are JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Sberbank and VTB Capital. In July, Ukraine placed Eurobonds to the tune of USD 2bn, yield 9.25% per annum, and in September 2012 placed additional USD 600mn in these securities. The yield of the additional placement bonds was 7.46% per annum. S&P rates Ukraine at B+. Both Fitch Ratings and Moodys Investors Service classify it one level lower, five steps short of investment grade.
