Serbia sells EUR 20.5mn in 24-mo T-notes, yields rise.

Serbia has sold a RSD 2.23bn (EUR 20.5mn) issue of 24-month Treasury notes, or 44.7% of the total on offer, the finance ministry's treasury department said. The ministry sold a total of 223,411 securities at an auction on February 22, yielding an annual 13.25%. The sold T-notes mature on February 21, 2014. The ministry sold securities worth RSD 7.82bn in its previous 24-month T-notes auction held on January 31, yielding an annual 13.09%. The treasury has said it targets selling RSD 46bn of short-term debt paper in February after planning to place RSD 34.3bn in January.
