American pizza chain Papa John's has plans to enter the Uzbek market, the company has announced on Instagram.
The indications are that the pizzeria chain will start its Uzbek operations in Tashkent, probably using a franchise arrangement.
Papa John's intends to open six branches in the capital.
Papa John's is already actively recruiting staff — in particular, pizza maker, cashier and kitchen worker positions are open.
The pizza maker is the third largest pizza chain in the world after Pizza Hut and Domino's Pizza.
In recent years, Uzbekistan’s fast-food market has seen the arrival of dozens of global brands, including KFC, Vkusno I Tochka, Wendy’s and Black Star Burger.
