Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on April 29 paid a one-day visit to Rome to attend the fourth intergovernmental summit between Italy and Turkey. A joint cabinet meeting was held.

Erdogan held a joint press conference with Italy’s right-wing-to-far-right PM Giorgia Meloni. He also met with his Italian counterpart Sergio Mattarella.
