Artificial intelligence startup Fu2re has secured BRL12.5mn ($2.23mn) in funding to expand its generative AI capabilities and broaden operations into sectors including agriculture and industry, the company said in a press release.

The funding round was led by Copel Ventures, managed by Vox Capital, with up to BRL7.5mn, alongside early-stage deep-tech investor Indicator Capital, contributing up to BRL5mn.

Fu2re stated the capital will support the development of scalable AI products and the formation of new sales teams, with plans to begin international expansion.

The Brazilian company’s core focus remains on using computer vision and AI to improve monitoring of physical assets, especially in the energy sector.

Its platform enables automated meter reading, fraud detection and loss prevention. The firm highlights a no-code interface that allows clients to customise AI applications without programming knowledge.

“Our differentiator lies in our flexible solutions that are already widely used in core business operations of large companies, resulting in increased productivity and cost reductions that are objectively measured and audited,” said founder and Managing Partner André Sih.

Fu2re also said its work aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those focused on industrial sustainability and responsible resource use.
