Iran claims strike on Mossad headquarters near Tel Aviv

Iran has launched a missile attack on the Mossad headquarters near Tel Aviv, according to Iranian news agency Tasnim on June 17.

Video footage emerged online showing smoke near the Israeli intelligence agency's headquarters following the reported strike.

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps also targeted the Israeli military intelligence base "Glilot" in a Tel Aviv suburb, according to Iranian television channel SNN.

Earlier footage showed an Israeli air defence missile falling on Tel Aviv during the exchange of fire.

Iran reportedly launched more than 140 drones towards Israel as part of a large-scale combined attack, according to the reports.

The claims could not be independently verified, with Iranian sources providing the primary information about the alleged strikes on Israeli intelligence facilities.

The reported targeting of Mossad headquarters would represent a significant escalation in the conflict between the two countries if confirmed.

Israeli authorities have not immediately responded to the Iranian claims about strikes on intelligence facilities near Tel Aviv.

The exchange comes as part of ongoing military operations between Iran and Israel that have intensified over recent days.

Both countries have conducted reciprocal strikes targeting military and strategic facilities in their respective territories.

The reported drone and missile attacks mark the latest development in the escalating conflict between the regional adversaries.

International observers continue monitoring the situation amid concerns about further regional destabilisation.
