US Presidend Donald Trump called Montenegro’s Prime Minister Dusko Markovic a "whiny punk bitch" after global media broadcast a video showing Trump shoving Markovic aside in order to stand close to the Nato head Jens Stoltenberg, according to former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman, The Hill reported.

The incident happened at the Nato summit in May 2017, when Montenegro was not a member of the alliance yet. The country was formally accepted in early June the same year.

The Hill published excerpts from Omarosa’s book “Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House", including a dialogue between her and Trump following the incident.

“I asked him, ‘You came off a little aggressive. Why did you do that?’” Manigault Newman writes.

“Oh, he’s just a whiny punk bitch," Trump responded, according to Manigault Newman.

Earlier in 2018, Trump again aimed at tiny Montenegro, calling the country aggressive. In July, Trump described the people of Montenegro as “very aggressive” in an interview with Fox News, suggesting that the Adriatic country could be the cause of a third world war.

“Montenegro is a tiny country with very strong people ... They’re very aggressive people. They may get aggressive, and congratulations, you’re in world war three,” Trump added in the interview.

Montenegro, a small country with population of 630,000, was one of the six republics in former Yugoslavia, which fell apart in early 1990. It has military personal of just 3,400.

The comments drew immediate outrage and ridicule from commentators.
