PM: Ukraine improves its position in Global Competitiveness Index 2011-2012.

Ukraine has improved its position and climbed seven spots in the Global Competitiveness Index 2011-2012 because of the improvement of the macroeconomic situation in the country, PMMykolaAzarovhas stated. According to him, the reduction of budget deficit from 18% to 5% of GDP (in 2011) as well as decline in foreign borrowings has helped to improve the position.
