LT: Lithuanian corporate revenues up by 10.7% y/y in 2010.

Aggregated revenues of all the corporations operating in Lithuania amounted to LTL 182.8bn (EUR 52.9bn) in 2010, up by 10.7% y/y, Statistics Lithuania research shows. There were total of 132,000 companies operating in Lithuania in 2010, which employed total of 830,000 people. Number of companies increased by 2.2% y/y, while number of people employed declined by 5.2% y/y and cost per employee declined by 3% y/y. Revenues grew the most in logistics and warehousing services sector, where it grew by 23% y/y in 2010, while utilities sector revenues grew by 22% y/y, and refining and manufacturing revenues growth stood at 21% y/y. In 2010 aggregated net profit of all the corporations operating in Lithuania amounted to LTL 3.3bn, with LTL 1.1bn contributed by retail and wholesale sector, LTL 1.0bn contributed by refining and manufacturing sector, and LTL 0.5bn contributed by professional, science, and technical companies. Total assets of all corporations amounted to LTL 199.8bn in 2010, which remained stable in y/y terms.
