Iran's Bank Melli sees significant growth in successful Shetab system transactions

The number of Shetab transactions from the beginning of Farvardin to Esfand 1403 reached a record of more than 19bn transactions, showing significant and remarkable growth compared to 1402, Bank Melli Iran Public Relations reported on April 29.

During the 12 months of last year and the final days of the year, Bank Melli's Shetab system hosted a very large volume of transactions across the country, with money transfers showing remarkable growth, especially during the final days of the year and on the eve of Nowruz.

According to available statistics, last year the number of Shetab transactions recorded 19bn, 73mn and 529,000, which shows a 3% growth compared to the number of Shetab transactions in 1402.

Notably, in Esfand of last year alone, the number of 1.7bn transactions were processed under the Shetab system at Bank Melli.
