Croatias shipyard Viktor Lenac completes overhaul of US Navy flagship.

Croatian ship building and repair company Viktor Lenac has completed the repair of the US Navy's Sixth Fleet flagship, the USS Mount Whitney, HINA news agency informed. The value of the repair works, started in September, is estimated at EUR 9mn. Croatian defence minister Davor Bozinovic praised the deal saying that it was the first time when the US Navy repaired its flagship outside the United States. In September, Viktor Lenac won a EUR 12.8mn deal to modify a ship owned by investment fund Carval Investors.
