Croatias retail chain Konzum acquires 2.57% stake in Zitnjak.

Croatian retail chain Konzum acquired 5,316 ordinary shares or 2.57% stake in Zitnjak, the company announced in a filing to the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The deal was conducted with Stedbanka. Thus, after the acquisition, Konzum holds 183,898 shares or 89.43 stake in Zitnjak. We note that Konzum reported 20.8% y/y increase in net profit to HRK 412.8mn in 2010. At the general meeting scheduled for August 23, 2011, the shareholders of the company voted on retaining HRK 374.2mn of the profit and distributing HRK 38.59mn as dividends. Konzum is a part of Agrokor Group.
