Cinema City International (CCI) sold 4.478mn tickets in Poland in Q1/2011, which is a decline by 7.9% y/y, the company has announced in its presentation for investors. Globally, CCI sold 9.071mn tickets in Jan-Mar, 2011, which is fall of 2.7% y/y. Earlier, ticket sales data were Publisher by CCI's competitors, including Helios (from media group Agora), whose Q1/2011 sales inched up to 2.5mn from 2.4mn a year before. The average ticket price fell by 11% y/y to PLN 16.8. Cinema City reported that its ticket prices in Polish cinemas fell by 7.1% y/y to PLN 18.30 on the average in Q1/2011. In euro terms, the average price was down by 6.0% to EUR 4.63, while CCI's global average ticket price was EUR 4.51. Cinema City International is the largest multiplex cinema operator in Central & Eastern Europe and in Israel.
