The civil aviation agency licensed Air Lift Service to perform regular flights in the country, local media reported. Thus Air Lift became the sole national air carrier since Macedonian Airlines (MAT) suspended operations last year after its last air craft was grounded for technical problems. Air Lift will conduct flights to Rome , Vienna , Istanbul , Zurich and Duesseldorf. Air Lift, owned by tour operator Sky Wings, ahs so far conducted only charter flights.
