Svod Master, the company behind North Macedonia’s first streaming platform Gley, launched an initial public offering (IPO) on the Macedonian Stock Exchange (MSE) on June 25.

The funds raised through the IPO will be directed toward original content production and expanding Gley’s catalogue of children’s and international programming.

“This is the first IPO on the domestic stock exchange by a company that promotes digital services in a globally competitive market,” Svod Master said.

On the first day of trading, the company sold 1,698 shares at an average price of MKD600 (€9.7), raising over MKD1mn. An additional 861 shares were sold at the same price on the second day [June 26], according to MSE data.

Svod Master is offering a total of 200,000 ordinary shares at a fixed price of MKD600 each. The subscription period will run until August 25, 2025.

Launched in 2021, Gley has attracted over 80,000 household subscriptions. In 2024, the platform expanded its revenue model by introducing advertising packages and secured key distribution partnerships with the country’s two largest telecom providers.
