Macedonias retail trade turnover fell by a nominal 6.1% y/y in November, a wider contraction than the 2% drop reported in October, the statistics office said in a statement. In real terms, the annual decline widened to 10.2% in November from 7.1% in October. Retail trade accounted for 47.7% of total distributive trade turnover in November. Wholesale trade turnover expanded by a nominal 13.4% y/y in November, decelerating from 23.1% y/y in the previous month. The sub-sector accounted for 46.8% of total turnover in November. Turnover of trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles declined by a nominal 3% y/y after dropping by 7.8% y/y in October.
