EBRD seeks consultant to strengthen Albania Deposit Insurance Agency.

The ERBD said it is inviting letters of interest for providing technical assistance to Albania Deposit Insurance Agency (ADIA) in the area of design, development and implementation of a data collection and reporting system. The project aims to support ADIAs objectives to insure deposits held with banks operating in the country, contribute towards enhancing the banking system sustainability as well as strengthen public confidence in the financial system. Letters of interest should be sent by September 5. The assignment is scheduled to start in Q1 2013 in and will be implemented over a twelve-month period. ADIA was established in Albania in October 2002. It insured deposit up to the amount of ALL 2.5mn (EUR 18,200).
