Tata Motors to open assembly plant in South Africa - report.

Indian automaker Tata Motors will launch an assembly plant for commercial vehicles in South Africa within next few days, the Business Standard newspaper reported. We have set up an assembly plant in South Africa and this is a commercial vehicle plant, a Tata Motors spokesperson as quoted as saying. Tata Motors currently operates truck assembly units in Thailand and Bangladesh, the newspaper said.
