LT: Lithuanian Railways cargo volume up by 15.6% y/y in Jan-Jul.

Lithuanian state railways company Lithuanian Railways recorded cargo volume of 30.8mn tons in Jan-Jul period, which indicates 15.6% y/y increase, Statistics Lithuania indicates. In July alone the company carried total of 4.6mn tons of cargo, which indicates 26.6% y/y increase. In July in m/m terms cargo volume increased by 3.3% y/y. Domestic cargo volume increased by 16.6% y/y in Jan-Jul period and amounted to 8.4mn tons. International cargo volume amounted to 22.5mn tons in Jan-Jul period, which indicates 15.3% y/y increase.
