KazTransGas and Uzbekneftegaz agree supplies to south of Kazakhstan.

KazTransGas and Uzbekneftegaz agreed to supply gas to the south of Kazakhstan, the Kazakh company has informed. The parties reached agreement on 3bcm of gas deliveries by using Bukhara-Tashkent-Bishkek-Almaty pipeline. The companies also agreed on additional supplies of Uzbek natural gas through Turkmenistan-China in volume of 0.5bcm. According to the swap agreement reached by KazTransGas and Russian Gazprom (main importer of Uzbek gas), Kazakhstan has a right to receive 3bcm of gas from Uzbekistan and provide the same volume to the Russian company.
