Israeli aircraft struck dozens of locations across Iran on June 23, including reports of a strike on Tehran's Evin prison and barracks in Karaj in the latest wave of attacks against the Islamic Republic.

According to local reports, state broadcaster IRIB, Evin Prison, the Energy Ministry, Shahid Beheshti University and police headquarters buildings in the city were targeted.

"Around 12 noon on Monday, several points in Tehran were bombed simultaneously. It's not yet precisely clear where, but the entrance of Evin Prison (administrative section of the prosecutor's office) was one of the locations (video [link provided]). The windows of my friend's house, which is in the Evin-Darake area, were completely shattered and the electricity has gone out in parts of Valenjak, Saadat Abad and Shahrak-e Gharb. One apparently was above Vanak Square and one was around the IRIB (state broadcasting) area," journalist Bahman Daroshafaei wrote on his Telegram channel.

Reports from the ground note that the walls around the uptown Tehran prison have collapsed onto the parking lot around, which is known to hold both domestic and international prisoners. There are currently no reports of fatalities in any of the targeted areas.

"As part of the effort to expand air superiority over Iranian skies, the IDF struck six Iranian regime airports in western, eastern, and central Iran. The strikes targeted runways, underground hangars, a refuelling aircraft, and Iranian regime F-14, F-5, and AH-1 aircraft," the military announced on Telegram.

Prior to the strikes on Tehran, six airports across western, eastern, and central Iran on the morning of June 23, targeting critical aviation infrastructure in a significant escalation of military operations.

The targeted airports are located in Tabriz, Mashhad, Dezful, Hamedan, Shahid Beheshti, and Mehrabad in Tehran. The strikes aimed to degrade Iran's aviation capabilities by hitting both infrastructure and aircraft assets.

The IDF confirmed that over 15 Israeli Air Force fighter jets conducted strikes in the Kermanshah area, neutralising multiple surface-to-surface missile launchers and storage sites directed toward Israeli territory.

The IDF noted that the Intelligence Directorate had obtained precise intelligence enabling the targeted operation. The military subsequently announced it had begun striking additional targets in Tehran, with further operational updates pending.
