The number of passengers at the Croatian airports increased 6.8% on the year to over 1.0 million in July, the statistics office said in a statement. Most of the passenger traffic passed through the Split airport (289,015, up by an annual 7%) followed by the Dubrovnik airport (274,468, up by 9% on the year) and the Zagreb airport (258,877, up by 3.9% on the year). The volume of cargo transported via Croatias nine airports rose 3.8% on the year to 746 tonnes in July. In Jan-Jul, the number of passengers at the Croatian airports increased 5.6% on the year to 3.25 million, while the volume of transported cargo dropped 1.2% on the year to 4,441 tonnes. |
