Constructions works in Kazakhstan up by 2.3% y/y in Jan-Sep.

In Jan-Sep, the construction works volume rose by 2.3% y/y and reached KZT 1.5tn (USD 9.8bn), reports Caspionet. The share of assimilated funds in housing was 8% in the total amount of investment in fixed capital, the state statistics agency said. Over 20,500 buildings were completed in the reporting period, 18,000 and 2,500 of which are residential and non-residential buildings respectively. In Jan-Sep, more than KZT 281.5bn was channeled for housing construction. The proprietary funds of developers were the main source of financing for housing construction within the period between January and August.
