Serbia sells EUR 21mn of 53-week T-notes, yields rise.

Serbia sold RSD 2.48bn (EUR 21mn) worth of 53-week Treasury notes earlier this week, or 22.3% of total on offer, the finance ministry's treasury department said in a statement. Investors bought 248,250 securities on July 31 at an annual yield of 14.35%, up from 14.25% in the previous 53-week T-notes auction held on July 4. The newly sold T-notes mature on July 12, 2013. Demand totalled RSD 7.34bn, down from RSD 7.34bn in the previous auction when the ministry sold RSD 6.88bn worth of 53-week T-note, some 38% of total offer.
