ODA recorded USD 8.03bn at end of March.

Philippines total commitments for Official Development Assistance (ODA) was recorded at USD 8.03bn at the end of March this year, as compared to USD 300mn recorded during the same period last year. As reported by Dow Jones International News, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) stated that there were 74 loans under ODA, along with 68 projects worth USD 7.24bn and 6 programs worth USD 790mn at the end of March. The actual disbursement of loans was recorded at USD 223mn in the first quarter, mainly from ODA loans provided by Japan, as compared to USD 468mn recorded during the same period of the previous year.
