ForMin: SCO is vital for Kazakhstans foreign policy strategy.

Kazakh foreign minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov stated that the Shanghai Cooperation organization is vital for Kazakhstans foreign policy strategy. He noted that the SCO became a prestigious international organization, plays in a positive role in safeguarding regional peace and prosperity and combating new challenges and threats. According to the minister, the SCO became a role model for different countries, religious organizations, civilizations and cultures demonstrating how different groups can peacefully coexist and cooperate with mutual benefit. The minister also declared that Kazakhstan wants to closely cooperate with China to further promote the SCOs role in international affairs.
