Sales revenues of Macedonian fuel retailer Makpetrol down 3.6% y/y in H1 2012.

The sales revenues of Macedonias leading fuel retailer Makpetrol dropped by 3.6% y/y to MKD 11.54bn (EUR 187.4mn) in H1, according to the consolidated income statement published on the website of the Macedonian Stock Exchange. Revenues from the domestic market decreased by 2.6% y/y to MKD 11.34bn, and revenues from foreign markets declined by 37.7% y/y to MKD 0.2bn. The companys operating loss increased 3.2 times on the year to MKD 194mn in H1. The fuel retailer reported a net loss of MKD 120.8mn in H1, reversing a net profit of MKD 31.9mn a year earlier. The total assets of Makpetrol stood at MKD 8.85bn at end-June, and the equity amounted to MKD 3.66bn. The company has a network of 121 filling stations.
