Russian Lukoil eyes investment opportunities in Turkey.

Vadim Vorobyev from Russias Gazprom told local daily Sabah that they wanted to invest in Turkeys electricity and natural gas markets and they were eyeing opportunities. Lukoil entered the local market in 2008 by buying stakes in oil retailer Akpet. Vorobyev said that they considered additional USD 25mn investment in fuel oil distribution operations as they wanted to increase share in the local market.
