Saudi Arabia's Riyadh Air has opened ticket sales for daily direct flights between Dhaka and Riyadh, ahead of the route's launch on August 7, the airline said.

The route targets one of South Asia's fastest-growing aviation markets, giving the kingdom's new national carrier a foothold in a corridor shaped by Bangladesh's large expatriate workforce in the Gulf and by rising outbound leisure and business travel.

The service will connect Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka with King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, according to the airline. Flight RX0763 will depart Riyadh at 21:20 and arrive in Dhaka at 06:10 the following day, while return flight RX0764 will leave Dhaka at 07:40 and land in Riyadh at 10:55, all local time.

The daily service is expected to strengthen travel, trade and tourism links between the two countries while offering onward connections across the Middle East and Europe through Riyadh Air's network and codeshare partnerships, the airline said, Emerging Travel reported.

The aircraft features four cabin classes, Business Elite, Business, Premium Economy and Economy, with next-generation in-flight entertainment and wireless connectivity. Tickets are available through the airline's website, mobile application and authorised travel agents.

Riyadh Air said Bangladesh's growing outbound travel market and close economic ties with Saudi Arabia made the route an important addition to its network. The carrier is expanding internationally as part of the kingdom's aviation strategy, supporting its tourism and economic diversification goals.
