Macedonian transport ministry sells two land plots in central Skopje.

Macedonias transport ministry said that it sold state-owned construction land located in Skopjes municipality Centar. The land comprised two plots intended for building multi-storey car parks, the ministry said in a statement. They were sold through electronic public bidding. Skopje-based company DPTU Makoil was the winner for a land plot with an area of 465 sq m, offering MKD 34,560 (EUR 560.8) per sq m, or MKD 16.1mn for the entire plot. The second land plot with an area of 1,245 sq m was purchased by Skopje-based company Nikofon, which offered MKD 6,150 per sq m, or a total of MKD 7.7mn. The land is intended for building a multi-storey car park with compatible uses for commercial, business and restaurant facilities, which may account for no more than 15% of the area. The winning bidder will assume the obligation to build the multi-storey car park in compliance with an existing preliminary design of its appearance.
