Approximately 60 people were injured when an Iranian missile struck a house in the Bedouin village of Zarzir in northern Israel during the early hours of March 13, ambulance service Magen David Adom (MDA) confirmed.

The direct hit comes despite Israeli military assessments suggesting Iran's security establishment has severely weakened, showing signs of deteriorating coordination and motivation. The Iranian missile created a large crater in the house's yard, severely damaging four nearby homes, destroying several vehicles by fire, and demolishing a stable where a foal was found dead.

"There is great destruction, walls that have collapsed in a private house, burning vehicles, and secondary damage within a radius of 200 meters from the scene," Yossi Halabi, a senior MDA paramedic, told Channel 2. Among the injured were 15 children and 15 adults, with most suffering from broken glass injuries or shock, according to MDA spokesman Zaki Heller.

Two sustained moderate injuries, whilst the remainder suffered light injuries. The strike came before the IDF announced it had hit over 200 targets across western and central Iran in airstrikes.

"Over the past day, dozens of Israeli Air Force fighter jets completed 20 wide-scale strikes in western and central Iran, guided by IDF intelligence," the IDF announced in a press release. "As part of the strikes, over 200 Iranian terror regime targets, including ballistic missile launchers, defence systems, and weapon production sites, were targeted."

HaEmek Medical Center reported treating six patients from the incident: a woman in moderate condition with shrapnel injuries and five lightly injured individuals, including two children aged 12 and 13. The exchange demonstrates continued volatility despite Israeli claims of degrading Iranian military capabilities.
