Brazil opens stock data link to China in investment push

Brazil has launched a partnership linking its stock market data to a Chinese financial information platform, the finance ministry said during an official mission to China led by minister Dario Durigan.

The agreement connects B3 databases to Wind Financial Terminal, used by Chinese banks, asset managers, insurers and brokers, Agência Brasil reported.

According to the ministry, the integration will give institutional users access to Brazilian asset prices, indices, trading statistics, reference data and historical series, aiming to support investment analysis and allocation decisions.

The ministry said the initiative is intended to narrow the gap between foreign investors and Brazilian markets by improving access to information and increasing transparency.

“Brazil has established itself as a safe and dynamic haven for foreign capital. By integrating B3 data into China’s leading financial platform, we are building a transparent bridge that provides Asian investors the tools they need to actively participate in our growth,” it said.

The move is part of a broader government mission to China focused on financial cooperation, sustainable investment and ecological transition financing.
