Bosnia's June CPI up by 3.8% y/y.

Bosnia's consumer price index growth decelerated to 3.8% y/y in June after being up by 4.2% y/y in May , the statistics office reported. Food prices soared by 7.2% in June, following an 8.3% rise a month earlier, thus being among the factors for the higher CPI growth. Transportation prices growth decelerated to 6.8% after being up by 7.8% the previous month. In monthly terms, a 0.5% deflation was recorded in June, following a slight 0.2% inflation in May. We note that the Serb Republic statistics office reported a 4% y/y CPI in May, down by 0.7pps over the month, while the inflation in the Federation was reported at 3.7% y/y, down by 0.2pps in comparison to the preceding month.
