Albania slips 18 places in global corruption ranking.

Albania has dropped to 113th position among 174 countries included in the latest survey on corruption compiled by Transparency International. In last years edition of the ranking, Albania took a 95 place among 182 countries. The ranking is based on a scale of zero to 100 points, where the maximum represents lack of corruption practices, and 0 stands for extremely high level of corruption. Albanias score was 33. In regional comparison Albania was the worst ranked, lagging behind Croatia (62nd), Macedonia (69th), Bosnia (72nd), Montenegro (75th) and Serbia (80th) and Kosovo (105th).
