Albania's customs revenue up 16.8% in October 2011.

The Albanian customs administration collected ALL 11.3bn (EUR 80.6mn) in revenue in October 2011, up by 16.8% y/y, the state institution said in a statement. The figure accounts for 100.7% of the month plan. In January to October revenue reached ALL 102.2bn, corresponding to 99.8% of the 10-month target. In October Albanias exports increased by 38.6% y/y to 346,300 tonnes. In nominal terms, the value of exported goods amounted to ALL 8.4bn, up 38.4% y/y.
