US extends USD 1mn for Montenegro's fight against corruption, crime.

The US government extended over US 1mn to Montenegro in support of its fight against corruption and crime, as well as strengthening of the rule of law, CdM reported. The project will take place until the end of September 2012. The US government will implement programmes and provide legal advice with the focal points including training and necessary financial resources for the development of the prosecution, a centre for judicial training, and police reforms.
